Moving into Kortright Hills last summer quickly showed us why so many people love calling this area home. Front porch chats, evening walks, and friendly faces are all part of what makes this such a special place to live.

Hello everyone, I’m Rob Townsend. My wife Jill, our daughter Charlotte, and our Labradoodle Molly are thrilled to be a part of this community. Charlotte has already made it her mission to meet as many friends as possible, and Molly is always happy to tag along as the unofficial greeter of the Townsend family.

I grew up in Guelph and I’m proud to be a third generation Guelphite, so being able to raise our family here feels pretty special. It has the kind of community energy that is getting harder to find these days, where people stop to chat, kids ride bikes down the street, and dogs somehow seem to know exactly where their friends live.

Before getting into real estate, I spent more than twenty years working in the golf industry. I still enjoy getting out for a round whenever I can, so if there are any fellow golfers nearby looking for a playing partner this summer, I’m always happy to tee it up.

These days I work as a local Realtor here in Guelph, which means I get to help people put down roots in the same community that shaped me.
